About me
John Lacroix is the founder of Crawford Pathworks, a GIS consulting firm specializing in land development and recreation planning. With over 15 years of experience in Outdoor Education and trail stewardship, John has dedicated his career to connecting people with their inherent potential and the natural world. He holds a BS in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire and a GIS Certificate from the University of Washington. As a visual learner and a leader of over 4000 hours of trail work, John views Geographic Information Systems (GIS) not just as a technical tool, but as a vital visual language for environmental storytelling. His work focuses on bridging the gap between complex spatial data and inclusive, accessible land management. By combining his background as a Race Director and Land Advocate with modern cartographic science, John empowers educators and land managers to see the landscape through a lens of neurodiversity and spatial pattern recognition.
