About me
Jordan oversees the Denver Public Schools Engagement Team, which integrates sustainable practices into schools through climate curriculum, student-led sustainability projects, and school gardens. With over ten years of experience in Denver Public Schools as a coach, teacher, and leader, she is passionate about creating opportunities for students to engage meaningfully with the environment and is dedicated to empowering student-led initiatives. Jordan grew up in Colorado, and this is where she first formed a relationship with nature – in her backyard among red-winged black birds, cattails, and mullein. Outside of DPS, you can find Jordan with her hands in the soil at her Denver Urban Gardens plot or with her head buried in a book.
