About me
Kevin P. O’Brien is the School Programs Coordinator at South Platte Park and the Carson Nature Center, where he designs and facilitates place-based environmental education experiences for students, educators, and community members. His work centers on holistic, justice-oriented interpretation that weaves together ecological literacy, relational learning, and inclusive outdoor experiences. He also provides professional development for educators focused on meaningful, place-based teaching practices. Kevin holds a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver and is committed to helping learners of all ages build deeper relationships with the more-than-human world.
