About me
My name is Lyndsy Fitzniak. I am a certified nature and forest therapy guide accredited through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) and cofounded a wellness business called Mountain Walks & Wellness. I am certified interpretive guide (CIG) working as a park interpreter at South Platte Park and Carson Nature Center in Littleton. I am a licensed language arts and special education teacher who has worked at Aurora Public Schools and Littleton Public Schools in Colorado along with districts across the Midwest. I am currently enrolled in a graduate program at Metropolitan State University at Denver where my capstone thesis focuses on the impact a nature-based approach has on sensory needs and learning outcomes.
