About me
Robert Galin is a Career Services Specialist for the state of Colorado. He was formerly Associate Professor of English, literature, and communications at the University of New Mexico, Gallup, and a journalist, specializing in environmental and natural resource journalism. He also worked as a Seasonal Park Ranger, Interpreter/Naturalist and Visitor Services Technician for Colorado Parks and Wildlife/Colorado State Parks, Navajo and Lone Mesa/Mancos State Parks during the summer and was the 2014 Writer-in-Residence at Mesa Verde National Park. Robert is a former Board Member of the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education and Rivers for Change. He contributed to the State of Colorado environmental education standards, as well as curricula for the National Park Service and Colorado State Parks/Colorado Parks and Wildlife. He is a current Board member of 4CORE (Four Corners Office for Resource Efficiency). He is also a volunteer workshop facilitator for Population Education.
